Layman's Terms: One is FuN~

If you know me then you know I LOVE LOVE LOVE to shoot babies!!!! I really love kids in general. They are so true with the camera. They don't care about your camera (except they know they want to touch it and drool on it!). They don't care that you are in their grill trying to capture the perfect picture. I always tell myself everytime before I go on a family shoot that I am going to have to tell the parents to not worry about how their kids are behaving because the kiddos always look natural, it's the parents who are awkward! Anyway, so you know me you know I love babies through the camera. If I could have a dozen (not carry them just magically have them already) I would!
So I got to take some pictures at Cayden's 1st birthday and I was stoked! He was such a cutie pie too! Enjoy these pics of his birthday and also watch out I am taking their family pics soon....

Layman's Terms: Wastin' Away Again in Margaritaville!

Recently, I was fortunate enough to take some very beautiful pictures of a newly engaged couple: Brandon and Angel.
This was a really cool photo shoot. I was in Texas and we got a really late start. It was almost lunchtime and I never usually shoot at that time when the sun is so blazing so I was a little worried about how the pics might turn out for technical reasons. We went down to the historical stockyards and discovered there are lots of tourists there on the weekends and it is impossible to park! I brought along my very wonderful and level headed assistant and creative director, Charlotte Morgan, who made sure that there was no illegal parking going on!
We started off the day at an abandoned bar with some beautiful brick. Angel and Brandon loved each other so much and it was apparent. I think a few times I had to say, "Hey, we are still here! Stop all that kissin'!"
My favorite parts of the day are when I would tell Brandon to just "relax" and each and every time he replied, "I am".
He really did relax though after he and I decided to have a Patron Margarita!
It was an awesome day with an awesome couple! Look out in the future for some wedding pics! Here are some of my favorite shots!
