Layman's Terms: Bring it on Mother.....Nature!

I know I am constantly repeating myself, but this was a really cool photo shoot!
Davi has 5 kiddos and is an amazing woman. I was fortunate enough to get to meet 4 of her kids (her other daughter lives a few hours away and could not make it). I was double fortunate enough to take pictures of this beautiful family! Man were they gorgeous! We took the pictures at their beautiful home. It ended up raining us out, though. In southern California if you can believe that! I thought it never rained in Southern California??
Well we did not let that stop us! I would not let them down like that! I have never let ol' mother nature get me the best of me. I look at it as a photo op ( as long as I have a good place to stand and protect my very expensive camera from the water!). We ended up getting some really cool pictures without the sun at first, during the rainfall, and after the sprinkles. They were so much fun and so was the rain! A'int nothin' gonna break-a my stride!

Layman's Terms: Goodbye, BFF's (Goodbye CA, Hello PR)

I am posting this blog, ironically, on a very sad day. Today my dear friends, the Earl Family moved to Puerto Rico. It just so happens that their last little family photo shoot is one that I have yet to post. They just happen to be next on my list. So as I am posting this with the tears welling up in my eyes. I am also telling myself what better way to remeber them than to have them on my blog to look back on. My dear friends, you will be missed and loved forever in my heart.
Now on a lighter note, Jaima: get me a wedding to shoot out there so I can come visit! I miss you already!
Now that I have posted and looked at these pictures I am just not so sure it's okay that you guys are gone! That final picture made the tears that were welling just come tumbling out!

Layman's Term's: Boy OH Boy!

Alright my next little family was just ADORABLE. I feel like I have said that before but they really were. It took them a little while to warm up but once the kiddos got used to me being around and snapping pics it was game on!
How cute were these two boys!! Kristen their mom really had her hands full! A brand new mommy with a fast two year old! Been there, done that! I felt her pain. We never thought we were going to get the baby, Colin, to stop looking down and playing with his shoes. He doesn't ever wear them so they were like brand new toys! I couldn't get Jacob to stand still, but if you know me you know that I like it like that! He was being himself and you can really tell from the final product. It was kind of a challenge however to get them all perfectly perfect at one time but as you can see from these pictures, We did IT!

7 is their lucky number!

Okay so it has been awhile since I have updated my blog. Just a simple case of I have not made time for it. However, I am better now and am updating all of the California goods before I got to Texas next week and get some Texas goods (which should be pretty awesome considering I have over a dozen appointments!). Let's just see how long it takes me to blog all of those!
Okay first up is an adorable little family of 7! In this family is a set of triplets, I mean does it get any cuter than that.
The Torres family was adorable and so easy to work with! I love that my job is easy anyway but it sure is nice to have people who make it easy and a blast! We went out to a cool little abandoned military base to shoot their pictures and they are fabulous! I love that location! Here are a few of my favorites from their shoot!
