The Carithers Family
This particular Carithers family consists of: Chris (the dad), Leah ( the mom), Colby ( the allstar), Sadie ( the girl next door-in a minor sense), and Sydney ( the princess).
Talk about taking a gloomy day and making it into a miracle!
It was pouring rain on us and I had every mind to cancel the photo shoot. For some reason on that particular day, I was feeling very positive. I called Chris as I was steadily watching the crazy green color envelope the area on the map where we were headed to take our pictures. I told him that we were still on for the shoot. I WAS DETERMINED. We decided at one point that we would drive away from it, only to find that the area we decided to go was only closer and closer to the green monster map area. So, we just sat, we sat and we sat. IT WOULD STOP. I was still positive. Next, I hopped in their car and said, "DRIVE". In the midst of the rain I spotted a little worn down garage in a parking lot. "STOP". We proceeded to park the car and I was out, covering my baby (Canon the Camera) with my shirt to shield him from the rain.
Much to my positive delight I did that shoot in a warn down, water leaking on us, nasty, old, abandoned garage........and yes they were FABULOUS anyway!!!
